Jeanette Alston is our director and mother of three children. She has been in the industry since 2000. At the age of 18, she started working in a nursery and then transitioned into her own home daycare, where she cared for children of military families. She moved into her first center in 2010, where she was named assistant director before becoming the director in 2012. In 2017, she came on board at LODS as a director and has remained here ever since.
Tenni began her career in childhood education more than 20 years ago. After moving through various roles, including teacher and director, she came to LODS in 2019 as the office manager and then moved into the assistant director role in 2021. She oversees the teachers in the infant center and most of the tours to potential families. She is married and has two children.
Melli came to us in 2019, where she spent her first four years in one of our 2-year-old classrooms. She has been in childcare for 12 years and has helped raise children for more than 15 years. She oversees our office and helps with administrative tasks. She also mentors our teachers and loves to use her background and experience to help out her coworkers and continue to educate children.
