Little Oaks Discovery School is committed to providing the best care for your children while keeping our students, our staff, and visitors safe. Here are some of the precautions that we take at Little Oaks.
- Our buildings have cameras.
- We have a security controlled entry.
- We perform regular maintenance inspections in our school, playgrounds.
- We have protective fencing around our school playgrounds.
- We are nestled off the main highway in a secured natural setting.
- We practice monthly fire drills, weather drills and lock-down drills.
- Our rugs and carpets are deep cleaned regularly.
- We use a monthly pest control service.
- Our staff members are CPR, First-Aid Certified, SIDS, Shaken Baby Certified and more.
- We use the service Dis-in-Fx to spray our school and test for cleanliness monthly.
- Frequent hand washing by staff and students.
- We follow the four-step sanitation rules.
- Our staff continuously cleans, sanitizes their classroom and all mats everyday.
- We sanitize toys daily.
- We keep everyone accountable for picking their child/children up from school if they are sick. No one can return back to school until fever free or with a doctors note.
- We I.D. anyone that we do not recognize or the person who regularly does not pick-up your child. (They must be on your pick-up list)
